Suppliers...thus far

Hmmm...well, I'm doing this because it seems most couples who have a wedding blog do this. So, whether you care to know this or not, here are my supplier updates:

  • Caterer: Batis Asul
  • Photography & Video: Ariel Javelosa
  • Wedding Cake: Cakestop by Mary Ann Cuenca
  • Wedding Rings: Nueva Goldsmith
  • Music: Classic Unlimited (and of course any friend guest performers)
  • Souvenirs: Papemelroti (yes, tinamad na ako maghanap sa Divisoria)
  • Entourage dresses: Darhleen's Fine Apparel (Pureza, Sta. Mesa. Nakita ito ng nanay ko. Long story. Pero this is for the better. Bridesmaids nagsukat last Sunday. The others magsusukat sa Saturday. And by "sukat", I mean "get measurements", not "fit the partially finished dress/suit")
  • Bridal Gown: Tenantz's Ninang (yes, nag-sukat na ako last Saturday. Pero sabi nya sa February pa sya bibili ng tela. And mukhang naguluhan sya sa design na pinakita ko. Waaa. Basta, bahala na)

Still looking for:
  • Wedding Coordinator - might or might not get one. We'll see.
  • Emcee - Wanted to make the wedding program interesting....
  • Onsite AVP - hmm, on the weddings I previously attended, the onsite AVP (where they show the makeup session, the church ceremony, etc) was quite interesting...
  • Invitations - Maybe DIY na lang
  • Entourage Flowers - still looking
  • Flowers for Bridal Car - still looking (since we'll be using our Nissan Exalta instead of the traditional bridal car). Unless of course, there's a cheaper alternative out there somewhere...for the bridal car I mean :)
  • Hair and makeup artist - Importante ito! I always remember how my mom does makeup -- the really white face which contrasts sharply with the normal-colored neck. And I do not want that! Hehe. Call me vain, but I just don't want to look funny in a wedding photograph when I view it 30 years from now. And of course, I know practically nothing about makeup...so hopefully I'll find a makeup artist that's good and affordable too...

Still to do:
  • Marriage license - Montalban or Manila? Hmmm.
  • Church Banns (shucks, need to do that...today!)
  • Church requirements (like interview, confirmation certificates, etc)
  • Talk to caterer - I have no idea what we'll be eating, or how the design would look like. Medyo mahirap magpa-schedule sa kanila ha. Hay.
  • Prenup photo shoots and trial makeup - hmm, medyo related ito sa "Hair and Makeup Artist"
  • Church Missalettes - after na ng Church interview siguro

No other way to describe it. No other way to concretize the concept. It is faith...faith that we are doing the right thing, faith that this is the right path for us. A leap of faith. Jump with us.
