More Words of Advice
More Words of Advice for those planning their weddingsWell, just because we've been through it doesn't mean we know it all. :) But we did learn some lessons and it's great to share the wealth, so to speak :)
- Prioritize and set your budget.
Know and decide what is the most important thing for you in your wedding, set your budget, know your limits and know on which areas to splurge if necessary.
In our case, we booked the church first (and the reception venue), then we booked the photographer, because we thought that wedding photos to keep forever were important to us. Though we looked and liked other reception venues, we had to keep in mind the overall budget we could afford, so the advice "prioritize" and "set your budget" was really helpful. Oh, and use a clearbook to hold all pertinent legal stuff/contracts/info. :) - Use a clearbook to hold all pertinent legal docs
See above. Wala lang, para organized. :) - Plan, plan well, and follow your plan.
During the last parts of our preparation however, due partly to desperation and lack of preparation, we splurged on some of the other areas we didn't plan for and consequently we became a bit over budget. But we had to let go, and trust that the event will work itself out. So our lesson learned was this: plan, and plan well. If you're going to cram, consider that in your planning as well. :) And always remember this as well (which I read in one of the w@wie member's signature) --> work on the marriage as well as the wedding. - Research

You might also consider using a Bridal Mini garment. It looks like the top half of your wedding gown. Perfect for testing hair, makeup and jewelry-and for the bachelorette party!
